Apple’s New Store In Shanghai
The new store of Apple will be the third one of the company in Shanghai. Request for Apple's devices in China has climbed since the company introduced its iPhone4 in the country last September. For the first three months of 2011, iPhone sales in China saw upsurge of almost 250%.
Apple's iPad has also leads China's tablet market, with a 74% of market share, according to Beijing-based research firm Analysis International. Demand for the Apple devices has been so high that illegal resellers in China have produced fake Apple stores by using the company's logos to embellish their shops. Officials have already reacted by cracking down on the fake stores in one city.
Apple has said formerly it would open total 25 stores in China in two years’ time. But the pace of store introductions so far has been much sluggish and focused on China's major cities. Apple's latest store in Shanghai will be the company's largest one in the country.
iPhone5 Breaking Apple Tradition
Afar that gossips, the motives for such a change in venue are purely hypothetical. It’s speculated that conceivably the new Apple CEO Tim Cook doesn’t care for the echoing YBCA, instead opting for a more acquainted, smaller and intimate place closer to home. Maybe the Wi-Fi or cellular data bandwidth is more consistent on the Cupertino campus, letting Apple to better reveal its wares and us media types to more successfully show our still photos and live blogs of the event. Maybe the reality misrepresentation field is more influential there.
Away from the location of the event, with the new management of CEO Cook, there are guaranteed to be some changes in the Apple way of presenting products. For example, we can daydream about a live streaming video feed of the event, not overriding any of the live and occasionally amusing remarks from various bloggers, but improving them with a live graphic record for all to see.
One thing’s unquestionable: Apple’s remarkable confidentiality rests intact, promising billions of dollars’ worth of free advertising leading up to the event.

Not Enough iPhone 5’s At Launch
Conferring to DigiTimes, air bubbles in iPhone 5’s LCD screen lid were the definite defect that Apple had to treat with.
The company planned to ship 25-26 million units of the iPhone 5 in the fourth quarter of 2011, while WinTek had to provide around 25% of the LCD sensor units. Obviously this won’t be happening now, so depending on demand Apple might not have enough units available for every person who’s looking forward to upgrade.
Apple’s iPhone 5 is projected to be introduced in October 2011.

iPhone 4 vs. Samsung Galaxy S II: Which should you get?
here its Review :
Hardware
3G vs. 4G
iOS vs. Android
Apps vs. Apps
Accessories
Conclusion
An impressive new design, amazing new display, key features like multitasking, and an attempt to mainstream video calls, along with hundreds of other little improvements combine together to make this a substantial upgrade and clearly the best iPhone ever. (Given the success of previous iPhones, that’s no faint praise).
Here’s the bottom line: The Galaxy S II is easily the fastest, thinnest and lightest Android smartphone you can get.By now you’ve read our Epic 4G Touch review. (If not, go ahead. We’ll wait. … OK. Ready?) Much of what you read there stands for AT&T’s version. They both have the same 1.2GHz processor and 1GB (more or less) of RAM, and so they pretty much feel the same in our initial use.
App for That: How to slow down video playback
App for That: How to slow down video playback to 1 fps on iPhone, iPad
There are hundreds of thousands of iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad apps for just about everything — so how come the one you need, the one you know just has to be there, is so hard to find? Enter TiPb’s new weekly feature where staff and readers alike sort through the App Store and help you find just the right App for That. This week, RogerL asks:
I’m still using my Palm Treo and The Core Pocket Media Player to play my swimming, golf swing and Tai Chi training video clips in slow motion. Was hoping to move to the iPhone to use the bigger better screen. To see what we found for Roger, follow along after the break!
Do you know of an iPhone video player that can play back slower than 50%?
VideoPix: Video Frame Capture & Slow Motion Player [$0.99 - App Store link] is an iPhone and iPad app that allows you to slow down video playback to 1 fps.
The easiest way to access video files for VideoPix is through the iPhone or iPad’s Photos app, but there’s a good chance that Roger does not have his above mentioned videos stored there. Luckily, VideoPix also allows you to import videos with iTunes File Sharing (providing they are in MP4 or MOV format).
Anyone else have any App for That suggestions for Roger? Let him — and all of us — know.
Having trouble finding what you need in the app store? Head on over to our App and Game Feature Forum and let us know what you’re looking for. The TiPb community will do our best to find you just the right App for That!

iPhone 4 review : Verdict
Well, there's been so much to talk about on the new iPhone that we're actually impressed Apple had that much to update on this iteration of the smartphone.
From HD video recording to a completely new shape, it's intriguing to see record-breaking numbers queuing up to pick up this device – but after playing with it for a few days, you can see why.
We liked
Well, we liked nearly everything on the iPhone 4. The main thing we enjoyed is the fact the interface is still so slick, as nothing beats the fact the phone reacts to your slightest touch.
The gyroscope is beyond awesome on a phone of this size, or on a phone at all come to think of it.
The battery life has been well extended to work long enough to not hate your phone any more, which is a welcome boost, and the camera and video recorder have been updated more than adequately to consider them actual replacements for the cameras and camcorders.
The Retina Display is really something else to look at, and we're even starting to like the sharp angles of the chassis – although we're still not huge fans.
The App Store is still brilliant, and will continue to get brilliant-er, and things like Google Maps offer a superb mapping experience.
We disliked
Why, why did the reception problem have to happen Apple? If it wasn't for that, this would have been head and shoulders above the competition when it comes to smartphone functionality. Nothing can come close on paper.
The price is also ridiculously high - £600 for a phone is amazing, and more so when you think thousands, yes, thousands of people queued up in the UK alone to pick up one of these the second it was released.
The HTC Desire costs less than £400, is free on £30 a month deals, where the iPhone costs £170 plus the contract too.
We appreciate the sheer amount of tech and design packed into the iPhone 4, but that's still a LOT to shell out for a phone.
Verdict
Trust us, we've gone back and forth over the star rating to give the iPhone 4 - it's been tricky.
Put it this way: if we didn't have to switch hands to browse the internet at any given moment, this phone would have been five stars, hands down. Apart from the fact your own skin makes you lose all 3G connectivity, there's pretty much nothing wrong with this phone.
And if you're still lusting after an iPhone, don't worry - this is by no means a reason not to buy it. Like we said, we had no dropped calls during our tests, and that's a big improvement on previous iterations - it was the internet browsing that got us.
Is it better than the 3GS? Yes - by a country mile. Is it better than the HTC Desire? In some ways yes, in some ways no... the iPhone 4 hits higher points but thanks to the reception issue hits lower points too.
Essentially it comes down to a straight choice: are you interested in the geek chicness of the rapidly-improving Android, or are you all over the slick iPhone eco-system?
You won't be disappointed by the iPhone 4 by any means - if you're happy to spend nearly £200 more on a phone and are willing to wiggle your hand a little bit then this phone will delight for the next couple of years.

iPhone 4 review: Battery life and connectivity
Another big plus for the iPhone 4 is, despite being the thinnest smartphone ever created, the battery life hasn't suffered. Far from it, as Steve Jobs actually reckons it can last 40% longer despite the smaller chassis size.
And you know what - he may actually be (sort of) telling the truth here. Seasoned iPhone professional users will know that to use a couple of applications, watching a 30 mins of video, downloading new apps, run music through Bluetooth and also keep opening and closing it to perform other tasks is a real battery sucker, and usually means your iPhone won't see out the day.
Well, doing just that sat at our desk, we actually found that in a seven hour period, the battery only dropped 50%. It might sound a little drastic, but over the course of the day, when you're using the phone a lot less, this works out to be a much nicer figure to work with.
We actually found we didn't need to carry around a charger all the time when we were using an iPhone 4 - and even if you forget to plug it in at night, it won't be until sometime the following day it completely shuts down, which you have to applaud when you see how thin the chassis is here.
Of course, this isn't the all-encompassing fix we've all been waiting for in smartphones, as a simple hour's commute with push email, music and the camera all in use will drop things by about 10%, but that's not standard use.
This is helped by an all-new processor, the Apple A4 effort that's really good at not sucking down too much power even when performing those pesky multi-tasking tasks. We're impressed with Apple, as its iPhone range has gone from one of the worst on battery life to at least one of the better ones.
Connectivity
The iPhone is, as you'd expect, jam-packed with functionality. You've got an upgraded Wi-Fi chipset in there to now cater for the faster 802.11n hubs, and of course we're treated to GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and A2DP as well as the normal HSDPA and 3.5mm headphone slot.
The Bluetooth is impressive as ever too - simply search for and pair with a Bluetooth headset, and whenever the iPhone 4 finds that unit broadcasting a signal in the future it will connect automatically - which makes it much easier to use.
The GPS, as we mentioned earlier is lightning fast, but it's a real shame about the reception issues with the data - we really thing the signal dropping is going to annoy a lot of people when they've shelled out so much money for a new phone.

iPod nano – A Long Way Before It’s Here The Way It Is!
How to Care for Your iPhone
1.Don’t leave it in your car. Cars are not a good place to leave your iPhone, even for short periods of time. Temperature limits of hot and cold can damage your device. Hot temperatures can particularly be magnified inside of a vehicle.
2.Avoid high moisture areas. Bathrooms, enclosed swimming pools and other high damp areas can cause water damage to cellphones much faster than you might recognize. Leave your cellphone behind when you enter these kinds of areas where the air is thick with moisture.
3.Drying it out. If your iPhone should get unprotected to moisture, take the back off and remove the battery as soon as possible. To captivate the moisture, place the phone in a container of uncooked rice. Immerse the phone totally in the rice and seal the container. If no rice is available, let the phone air dry for a day before trying to operate it again.
4.Use display protectors. The surface of your iPhone can easily become scratched and marred- you should already have learned it from one of our posts. Guard it with transparent film protection sheets. Change the sheet every few months. You can even bring your phone into your local cellphone carrier and have it renewed for you.
5.Keep it in a hard case. Purchasing a hard case to snap your iPhone into is a wise investment. The case will take the punishment of abuse instead of the phone itself.
6.Car chargers. Car chargers are a great convenience, but they shouldn’t be your primary charger. You should also disconnect your iPhone from the car charger when you are starting or shutting off the car to avoid injuring it with power surges.
7.Battery indicator. At times cellphones will appear to be losing their charge more rapidly than normal, when, in reality, it is the battery life pointer just giving a false alarm. To spot on this situation, let your phone battery to go thorough dead before recharging. After doing this a couple of times, the indicator should be reset and start action correctly again.
8.Don’t overload. Your iPhone is a mini-storage device and has a restricted amount of memory. If you find your browser or apps freezing, you may be reaching your memory limits. If there are apps that you don’t use, removing them from your iPhone on a regular basis can free up more memory.
9.Don’t overcharge. It is suggested that you remove your phone from the charger once it reaches a full charge, or else shut the phone down when charging the phone. Leaving a fully charged phone plugged into the charger and turned on can lead to overheating.
10.Be aware of placement. Many iPhones are injured because of being set down on a hood or roof of an automobile, and then forgetting it there when the owner drives away. An iPhone moving loosely in a handbag is also subject to ‘battering’ by other items in the bag. Keeping your device in a separate pocket of a handbag is much favored.
Maybe you’ve already experienced any of the situations listed above. We all agree that it is simply a common sense, but most of us find it hard to learn from others’ mistakes, unless they suffer all on their own...

Hard and Soft Reset on iPhone 4
A reset can be done in two ways; you can try either a hard, or a soft reset of your iPhone4.
The first one to try implies following steps: you press and hold the Sleep/Wake button together with a Home button of your iPhone 4. In about 10 seconds of holding, an Apple logo should appear on the screen. Only after that try to turn on your phone and see if it runs.
Jailbreaking makes this process a bit complicated, in this case, your iPhone still cannot be back to order. So if you have applied Jailbreaking, or have some Cydia app installed, try to reset your phone as follows:
Connect your iPhone 4 to PC and start iTunes. Still press Sleep/Wake button and a Home button simultaneously for about 10 seconds, till the logo appears on the iPhone screen. Once you see the logo, release the power, but hold the home button for additional 5-10 seconds. Now look at iTunes to check if your device has shown up.
You’ll be notified by iTunes that the iPhone is in a recovery mode. Click OK to continue the restore process. Click and hold the SHIFT button and click on the Restore button. Then select the latest IPSW file for the prompt to appear. iTunes will attempt to bring you back to the manufacturer setting and later will allow you to restore your content from the PC. Each time you apply synch, iTunes makes a backup, so you can chose the latest one from the synch.
As for the soft reset, there are numerous things you canreset in the Settings app, from the Home screen layout to the network settingsto all the data on your device.
Tap the Settings icon and chose General Settings. Swipe upto see the bottom of the page and then tap Reset. Tap Reset All Settings toreset the network, keyboard, Home screen layout, and location warnings. TapReset in the pop-up window for the confirmation.
To reset specific settings, chose among Network Settings, KeyboardDictionary, Home Screen Layout or Location Warnings and do not forget to oncemore tap Reset in the pop-up window for the confirmation.
Latest iPhone Headlines
It would be fair to begin with iCloud and iWork beta versions that have been released recently. Its free with iOS 5 and with iCloud, the music you purchase in iTunes appears automatically on all your devices. You can also download your past iTunes purchases.

Improve iPhone 4 Battery Life
Modify Screen Brightness - Brighter light will eat more battery life when equated to a lesser bright light. You can lower the brightness of your iPhone 4 by entering the Settings and then Brightness option.
Turn Off 3G this is the fact that you browse super-fast with the 3G, but it’s highly recommended that you to turn it off when it is not in use. This will certainly add up another boost to your battery savior. To turn off 3G (and to turn it off as well) open Settings; go to General menu and chose Network.
Wi-Fi is actually a nice way to stay linked to the internet, but make sure to turn it off when Wi-Fi is not in use. To change Wi-Fi settings, open Settings and then Wi-Fi. Sounds and Vibrations – You can turn off the needless sounds, such as Lock Sounds, Keyboard Clicks etc., and vibrations to save your battery. To adjust sounds and vibration settings, open Settings and find Sounds menu.
If you’re using an application which keeps sending you notifications, disable or uninstall it to save battery life. Close Applications - As you all know, iPhone 4 supports multitasking, so dredge up to close an app when you’re not using it.
Empty your battery at least once a month and charge it back to 100%. This is one of the best methods to get the most out of your battery.
If you track these tips, you’ll assuredly be able to save a lot of battery life.

Tips for Great iPhone Photos
The encounter, for sure, is accomplishing great-looking photos from a gadget principally designed for chatting. If you take a notice of a few tips in mind, you can capture some pretty sharp pictures with your iPhone. We have previously reported some great iPhone photos, you can see the post right here. Here is what you should consider:
Your phone can handle a lot of situations with aplomb, but it can't shoot every scene you meet. The teeny-weeny image sensor craves light, and does best outdoors, in daylight. For the best experience, follow the same advice that photographers have kept in mind for decades- just let the sun shine in!
Let daylight help your photography. Try to put the sun behind you or over one of your shoulders. Avoid capturing straight into the sun, or you'll radically underexpose your focus. If you're shooting inside, put your back to the window and turn on the lights.
Knowing right settings is not enough for a good photo- you should be able to compose the scene while shooting- that’s what the pros do. Just split your frame into thirds. After dividing conjure up a tic-tac-toe board—and put your focus on one of those lines, rather than in the middle of the screen- that’s somewhat banal. But be careful here- keep in mind that nothing ruins a photo like a skewed horizon. Keep an eye on the background to ensure that nothing is "rising" out of the top of someone's head.
Run the camera quicker- optimize your home screen so you can start capturing with a single tap. This ensures that you avoid losing out on many great photo opportunities. Fortunately, iPhones allow moving your camera into more convenient location of your screen. You can either apply to have camera on the first screen, or put it in the quick-access area at the bottom of the screen. You can even resign buttons to launch your camera faster.
The most common reason you keep getting get blurry photos with your phone is that it's light and thin, and awkward to hold compared with a full-size camera. So the solution is to keep the phone steady while capturing. Grip the phone as motionless as you can, with both hands, and keep your elbows put in to your sides for sustenance.
To be continued….
Cheaper iCloud-Based iPhone?
The story seems to be well-sourced — Applenapps.com writer, Sheridan, claims to have verbal communication to three independent sources “who are all connected to Apple in different capacities,” and one of them seems to have given him the scoop on launch date ahead of time.
Sheridan’s sources say the iCloud iPhone will “look like a small iPad,” and that it will retail for $400 — or no cash at all once you factor in the 2-year contract signup discount. The sources are a little short on particulars of exactly how this will rely on iCloud more than any other iPhone. In iOS5, iCloud will back up your entire phone, counting apps. But is Apple ready for a device that runs completely from the cloud, straight after the launch of the app?
With Android phones now beating iPhones, it wouldn’t be astonishing if Apple required boosting its market share on the low end — and having an iPhone that is free (with contract) would go a long way in the direction of that goal. We’re sure that the advertising genii at 1 Infinite Loop would want to include a catchword like iCloud in the phone’s title, as well as pushing the fact that you have access to your music and photos without actually having to upload them... But a memory-free iPhone seems exceedingly unlikely.

iPhone to China Mobile
Actually, China Mobile by now has nearly 7.5 million iPhone users on its system, notwithstanding selling the phones through its channels and even though iPhone devices running on China Mobile don’t have admission to 3G. China Mobile uses its own network benchmark, TDSCDMA, which is different from the two alternatives that Apple supports for the iPhone 4. Bringing a phone to China Mobile would fundamentally entail producing a China-only modified iPhones.
Previously this might have been looked at as untenable, however, the size of the Chinese marketplace, as well as the fact that Apple now makes a CDMA variation (for carriers like Verizon), besides to its GSM standard iPhone, makes a China Mobile iPhone much more possible.
So here are the latest updates:
Trade on the Financial Markets with MetaTrader 5

Moreover, you can apply an indicator to the main chart window or to other indicators. Inshort, with the release of the updated MetaTrader 5 iPhone, the arsenal ofmobile traders has grown considerably.

And The Bitten Apple Goes To….
Being back from a short vacation, where I decided to lose any connection with the internet and technology world, and even with friends, I was stunned by the shocking news- Steve Jobs has resigned!
I was not even surprised when I heard that it was Mr. Cook who Steve "strongly recommended" as his successor… Despite the impressive resume and working experience, and regardless a B.S. degree in industrial engineering from Auburn University and his M.B.A. from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business (while Steve has even not graduated from college), I still suspect that Tim (or anyone) will do so much good to Apple, as Steve did and would have been done (if he had not resigned). Anyway, it’s good to know that Cook served as Apple CEO for two months in 2004, when Jobs was recovering from pancreatic cancer surgery and again in 2009, while Jobs took a leave of absence for a liver transplant. Tim knew the odds were in his favor as he was the one who could be a worthy replacement for Steve…
Cheaper iPhone 4?
Even though particulars are limited, this news seems to be unlike the rumors demanding that Apple is planning to release an ominously cheaper and pared down version of the iPhone. Sources, who are tied to Korean manufacturers that create parts for the iPhone, only indicate the compact storage memory in an otherwise standard iPhone 4, which will decrease the device’s price but is doubtful to provide for a drastic price cut. It is also claimed that the iPhone5 will be introduced at the end of September. But note that the launch date of iPhone 5 has been manipulated with more than ever in the device’s history.
